Getting Started with the Bauer Family
The Bauer Family research has been primarily conducted by Kathrin Bauer our distant cousin located in Wildberg, Germany. We had the unique opportunity to reestablish this connection with the Bauer's and jointly work with them on this effort.
Our family line connects to the Bauer Family through Anna Maria Bauer and Emma Luise Bauer. Both of which immigrated to the United States.
We also want to thank the following family members for their contributions toward the Bauer ancestry research and for making this possible:

Brief Summary of Findings
We were able to trace the Bauer family history back to the late 1700's. The Bauer family has a long history in Wildberg, Germany and working in the horticultral and agrigultural industry. There are many Bauer's that still reside in Wildberg and the surrounding area.
We also know that two Bauer's, Anna Maria and Emma Luise immigrated to the United States in the 1920's. As a result, the Bauer family line has expanded in the United States, primarily in the Chicagoland area.

Sources Used
Katrin Bauer and her mother Gertrud Bauer provided a majority of the information on the Bauer family ancestry. They based their research on personal accounts, memories and they also conducted research using the Wildberg City Archives.
